At Iona Integrative Health, we believe HEALING is the goal. The most current research demonstrates that the brain is very plastic, and that it can recover from physical and psychological trauma and injury as well as resolve neurological developmental deficiencies. Iona’s holistic approach is to combine appropriate medical treatment with evidence based therapies proven to heal the effects of disturbing events, trauma, mood disorders, relationship and/or attachment issues, addiction, and more. It’s about your freedom to choose and becoming informed regarding the choices available to you. We partner with the client and honor their choices.
Four of the many modalities utilized at Iona Integrative Health which are clinically proven in working with trauma, attachment, addiction, and many other issues are (1) Dialectic Behavioral Therapy [DBT]; (2) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing [EMDR]: (3) Internal Family Systems [IFS]; and (4) Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy [TF-CBT]. We continually are upgrading skills, seeking and learning proven therapies, methods, and modalities which will benefit you, our clients.
